Poland’s President Andrzej Duda sworn in Beata Szydlo as the new prime minister. Members of the new government were sworn in as well in a ceremony in the Presidential Palace. Key government figures include deputy ministers: Piotr Glinski (Minister of Culture and National Heritage), Mateusz Morawiecki (Minister of Development) and Jaroslaw Gowin (Minister of Science and Higher Education). Other crucial posts include: Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski, Defense Minister Antoni Macierewicz and Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro. While appointing the new prime minister, President Duda said it was extremely important to have a stable government in these hard times. Priome Minister Szydlo declared her government would concentrate on matters of every citizen and the wellbeing of the state will be most important for her.
